Tim W “Toy Soldiers” is an excellent movie. If you haven’t seen it then you are missing out. Sean Austin in the perfect role. I love that Sean Astin cried in the film. It brought tears to my eyes. He also cried in “Rudy”. Sean is such a good actor and was with an all star cast with Will Wheaton, Keith Coogan and Louis Gossett Jr. An action and drama film. I didn't have much memory of it, so I decided to watch the movie again today.I must say that I really enjoyed this movie and was extremely impressed with the young actors' performances as well as the other actors like Andrew Divoff (played Luis Cali in the movie)The movie had elements of boyish, teenage antics, and mischief, which were slightly humorous and provided comic relief, especially after the beginning scene of the movie, which was needed.Throughout the movie, you see the character of the boys progress, especially Billy (played by Sean Astin), as they are presented with difficulties amid the takeover of the school by the terrorists.Overall, the heart of the movie was the comradeship amongst the boys, which was nice to see.I recommend people to give this movie a watch; it's something different compared to your average movie.
